As you may possibly know, my previous Vocaloid drawing got removed (because of a pantyshot). So... I'm really hoping this one won't, too... :iconsighingplz:

Anyway, here's a drawing that kinda turned into fanart halfway through, haha :P

I know I haven't been uploading too much recently - that's mainly due to me mostly submitting stuff to Pixiv, but also because I've been a little occupied over the past couple of weeks or so with things. I've also finally understood the importance and technique of practicing from references, which is what I've been doing quite a bit this week (also why I haven't uploaded much).
Santa by Piehamster
I know it's a little late, but here's my Christmas drawing for this year :P

I dunno - maybe it's because I spent so long working on it and have become bored of it, but I don't think it's particularly that great (the crappy, rushed BG, her hand/arm etc...). Still, thought I'd upload something anyways...

Also, this is kinda another 'borderline' image, so I'm not sure about putting the filter on or not...
He-hello everyone :iconpachuuplz:

I finally made the decision to upload a (full frontal) nude drawing here to DA. This one should be okay, right? Because you never know on this site... :iconusmileplz:

Anyway, please don't kill me :P
Bikini by Piehamster
Sorry for yet another beach drawing :iconba-kyunplz:

Just another random catgirl in a bikini - nothing much to see here... :iconpachuuplz:

Just a quick thought I wanted to share with people:

This new "painting" style of mine - I am not sure it is too good. I mean, painting is amazing, but I just don't think I have the artistic ability to do it successfully.

Looking back, my older drawings before I started this were a lot neater, and had much more vivid and bright colours. I also noticed that my recent experimental drawings/paintings/whatever haven't really been that popular as my drawings usually are. And to be honest, I can see why. For instance, my Roromiya Karuta drawing I really think is a complete mess, and I'm not really that happy about it. In my opinion there has been a great drop in art quality since I've started trying it.

To be honest, I think lineart is easier, and in some ways I prefer it. Perhaps I may "paint" in the future again, but for now I know that I am really not ready and artistically mature enough yet for it (with the exception of backgrounds, perhaps). As an interesting observation, I can see that the majority of artists tend to use lineart, and those who don't are pretty damn good on average.

Of course, I've learned from this experience to use more vivid and bright colours!

Anyway, not sure if anybody even cares about this, but I thought I'd let people know.
